This board is a highly capable WiFi IoT Development Board (features Wi-Fi connectivity exclusively, no Bluetooth), based on the reliable ESP8266 microcontroller. Equipped with a modern Type-C interface and the integrated CP2102 serial chip, it ensures a stable connection and effortless programming via Arduino IDE, MicroPython, and ESPHome. It is the ultimate core for custom sensors and smart home setups. WARNING: All GPIOs operate STRICTLY at 3.3V.

The Core for Every Modern IoT and Smart Home Project

This 32-bit development board is engineered for maximum reliability during continuous operation. Clocked at 80MHz (with overclocking capabilities up to 160MHz), it provides an outstanding balance between processing power and low power consumption, making it the perfect foundation for Internet of Things applications and wireless sensor networks.

  • Wireless Connectivity: Built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) protocol for seamless networking. (This board does NOT feature BLE / Bluetooth).
  • Modern Interface: Integrated USB Type-C port and CP2102 USB-to-Serial converter for high Baud rate, stable power delivery, and flawless computer communication.
  • Versatile I/O Pins: Extended 30-Pin layout granting full access to GPIOs, supporting hardware PWM, ADC, I2C, and SPI. Perfect for hooking up multiple modules and relays.
  • Onboard Storage: Sufficient Flash Memory for flashing complex scripts, hosting Web Servers, or utilizing OTA updates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I integrate this with Home Assistant?
A: Absolutely. The board is natively supported by ESPHome and Tasmota. It can be easily flashed to join your Smart Home network automatically, allowing you to build custom temperature sensors, smart relays, and more.

Q: Do the Pins work directly with 5V sensors?
A: Warning: The GPIO pins operate STRICTLY at 3.3V logic level. To connect 5V components (e.g., 5V LCDs or certain logic relays), you must use a Logic Level Shifter to prevent permanent hardware damage to the microcontroller.
