Fuses
The Fuse is the unsung hero of every device. It is designed to "sacrifice" itself (blow) first, breaking the circuit to save expensive components from short circuits and power surges.
In our store, you will find a complete range for every application:
- Glass vs. Ceramic: Glass fuses (5x20mm) allow for visual inspection, while Ceramic ones offer higher rupture capacity and durability (ideal for multimeters).
- Fast vs. Slow Blow: Choose Fast Acting (F) for sensitive electronics or Slow Blow (T/Time Lag) for motors and power supplies that have high startup currents.
- Thermal Fuses: Special fuses that cut power when a specific temperature is reached (essential for irons, coffee makers, hairdryers).
