  • IoT Protocol Support: Integrated IEEE 802.15.4 radio supporting Zigbee 3.0 and Thread, making it Matter-ready out of the box.
  • Ample Memory: Features 8MB SPI Flash Memory and 512 KB HP SRAM to handle demanding applications and data logging.
  • Versatile I/O Pins: Breaks out all available GPIO pins from the microcontroller (except the SPI bus used for Flash Memory), providing maximum flexibility for sensor interfacing.
  • Easy Connection: Equipped with a reliable Communication Chip (e.g., CP2102/CH343) for seamless USB-to-UART conversion and instant programming.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the ESP32-C6-DevKitC-1 compatible with 5V sensors?

Not directly. As with all ESP microcontrollers, the logic voltage on the pins is strictly 3.3V. Connecting a 5V signal directly to a GPIO will permanently damage the chip. To safely communicate with 5V logic devices, you must use a Level Shifter.

What drivers do I need for my computer?

Depending on the specific board revision, the onboard Communication Chip handles the USB interface. On most modern operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux), the required drivers install automatically. If not, you can download the standard drivers for the CH34x or CP210x series, depending on the USB-to-UART bridge implemented on the board.
