Ultimate Motor Control for Your Robots

The ELECFREAKS Motor:bit Breakout Board is the backbone for building smart cars and mobile robots. It integrates the advanced TB6612 motor drive chip, which provides stable power and precise speed control to 2 DC motors. Additionally, it breaks out the useful micro:bit ports into the practical GVS (Ground, VCC, Signal) standard, allowing you to plug in sensors (like line-tracking or ultrasonic) and servo motors directly onto the board effortlessly, without needing a breadboard.

Key Features & Specifications

Compatibility: Designed for a flawless fit with both micro:bit V1 and V2 boards.
Motor Drive Chip: Integrates the TB6612 chip, supporting 2x DC Motors with a maximum current of 1.2A per channel.
GVS Ports (Pins): Breaks out multiple IO ports into a 3-pin layout for direct and easy connection of digital/analog Octopus series sensors.
Built-in Audio: Features an on-board Buzzer connected to Pin 0, ideal for adding sound alerts to your vehicles.
Power Supply (VIN): Accepts an external power supply of 6V to 12V DC, ensuring sufficient power for both the micro:bit and the motors.
