The kit is powered by the IoT:bit expansion board, equipping the micro:bit with a Wi-Fi module (ESP8266) and a Real-Time Clock (RTC). Students can wirelessly send their sensor readings to the FREE educational platform smartiot.space, creating interactive dashboards to monitor their crops in real-time.

Specialized Agricultural Sensors & Automation

Designed for practical application, the package includes a soil moisture sensor, a waterproof temperature sensor (DS18B20), a water level sensor, and an ultrasonic sensor (Sonar) for detecting insects or birds. Furthermore, it features a submersible water pump and a 180° Servo motor, empowering kids to build mechanisms that physically act upon the environment (e.g., opening greenhouse windows, auto-watering).
