Powertex Easy Varnish is a specialized, solvent-free, water-based varnish enriched with wax, designed to make your artworks and crafts completely waterproof and weatherproof. It safely applies to Powertex creations, Stone Art, wood, ceramics, and even styrofoam without melting it. It leaves a clear, satin-protective finish capable of withstanding harsh outdoor conditions. One of its greatest advantages is that it can be mixed directly with powder pigments (such as Powercolor and Colortricx) to create your own fully waterproof custom paints, perfect for dry-brushing techniques.
Powertex Easy Varnish is the "secret weapon" for every crafter and artist looking to protect delicate artworks, garden statues, and mixed media projects. Thanks to its special wax-based formulation, it makes items highly water-resistant and weatherproof, perfectly suited to withstand the intense Cyprus sun and winter humidity. Being 100% solvent-free, it is both user-friendly and environmentally safe.
Question: When can I place my sculpture outside in the garden?
Answer: While the varnish is touch dry in 1-2 hours, it requires approximately 3 weeks of curing time for the wax to fully set and achieve 100% weatherproofing. After this period, your artwork is completely safe to be left outdoors permanently.
Question: Can I use it over acrylic paints or for Decoupage projects?
Answer: Absolutely. It acts as an excellent final protective sealer for all craft techniques, closing the pores and providing superior moisture resistance.
Instructions & Warnings: Stir or shake very well before use, as the wax component may separate and settle at the bottom of the bottle. Apply in thin, even coats. Do not allow the product to freeze. Wash your brushes immediately with warm, soapy water after application.
