Sensor:bit Expansion Board & Easy Connections

The heart of the system is the Sensor:bit board, which expands the capabilities of the micro:bit by turning it into a central sensor hub. With a design that prevents wiring errors, it allows students to immediately focus on programming and developing their medical and wellness applications, without worrying about complex circuitry.

Specialized Health & Wellness Sensors

The kit is fully equipped with measurement tools found in the real world. It features an analog UV Sensor to measure ultraviolet radiation, an alcohol sensor (MQ3), a motion sensor (PIR), a thermometer/hygrometer (DHT11), a crash sensor, and an OLED display for the immediate visualization of vital data or measurement results.

Real-World Smart Health Scenarios

Solve everyday problems through robotics! Build a mechanism for touch-free hand washing (preventing germs), a device that reminds you to correct your sitting posture at your desk, or a UV meter that alerts you when to apply sunscreen. You can even program a water drinking reminder (Hydration Tracker) or a smart, touchless trash can.

Programming & STEM Education

The Smart Health Kit is fully supported by the visual environment of Microsoft MakeCode, utilizing dedicated ELECFREAKS Extensions. Through the comprehensive educational material (WIKI), children are guided step-by-step in creating code. For more complex projects and preparation for high school, the system is perfectly compatible with text-based languages like Python.
