Mechanical desktop pencil sharpener Deli ER10604 from the Macaron range, with a hand crank and an auto-feed opening on top. A steel blade in a rust-resistant zinc alloy mechanism gives an even, sharp point, while the die-cast construction helps prevent the lead from breaking. The transparent removable canister shows when it needs emptying.
The Deli ER10604 from the Macaron range is a desktop hand-crank sharpener made for graphite pencils 6.9-8 mm in diameter. The pencil is inserted vertically through the opening on top and the auto-feed mechanism grips and advances it on its own, so there is no need to push it in by hand.
The cutting mechanism uses a long-lasting steel blade in a rust-resistant zinc alloy housing. Precise die-cast construction holds the blade at a constant angle and reduces lead breakage, while the transparent removable canister shows at a glance when it needs emptying. At 83 x 68 x 134 mm the body takes up very little desk space.

Which pencils does it fit?
Standard graphite pencils from 6.9 to 8 mm in diameter, which covers the usual school and office pencils (HB, 2B and similar). It is not intended for thick jumbo pencils or wax crayons.
Does it sharpen coloured pencils?
It is designed for graphite pencils. Coloured pencils within the same diameter range can be sharpened too, but softer coloured leads break more easily, so turn the crank more slowly.
Does it need batteries or power?
No. It is purely mechanical and works with the hand crank alone.
Can I choose the colour?
The Macaron range comes in coral pink and mint green. Orders are shipped in a random available colour.
How do I empty the shavings?
Pull out the transparent drawer at the base, empty the shavings and slide it back until it clicks into place.
