The Aqara Curtain Driver E1 (Track Version, model CM-M01) is a battery-powered smart curtain motor that opens and closes curtains hanging on U-shaped and I-shaped curtain tracks. It mounts directly on your existing track, hides behind the curtain and is set up in the Aqara Home app. Over Zigbee 3.0 and a compatible Aqara hub, it works with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings and Home Assistant, so your curtains can follow voice commands, schedules, daylight and your daily routines.

Installation Tips

Tip: check your track before ordering. U-rails need a flat, smooth surface, a closure head and a bottom slot width of up to 8 mm. I-rails need a bottom width of at least 10 mm. U-rail gliders without wheels are not supported. Keep the USB-C cable loose if you power the driver constantly, so it does not get tangled.

Which curtain tracks is the Track Version compatible with?
It supports U-shaped rails with a bottom slot width of up to 8 mm and I-shaped rails with a bottom width of at least 10 mm. U-rails need a flat, smooth surface and a closure head, and gliders without wheels are not supported.

Can I use it with a curtain rod?
No. The Track Version does not support rods. For rods with a diameter of 25 - 32 mm, choose the Aqara Curtain Driver E1 Rod Version (same model code CM-M01). Extendable rods are not supported by either version.

Do I need a hub?
The driver communicates over Zigbee 3.0, so it is connected through a compatible Aqara hub and set up in the Aqara Home app. Matter support is delivered through an update of a compatible Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub.
