Frequently Asked Questions

Which fabrics is it for?
It is designed for marking on a variety of fabrics and is ideal for deep coloured fabrics, where white ink stands out. Test it on a small area of the fabric first.

How do I start using a valve-action marker?
Remove the cap, hold the marker with the nib facing up and press the nib once to release air. Replace the cap and shake well, then press the nib lightly a few times until the ink flows. Avoid pressing too hard, as this can cause blotting.

Will the writing fade when the garment is washed?
The manufacturer states that the ink does not run on clothes nor fade with repeated washing. For best results, test on a small area of the fabric first.

Tip: if the colour starts to fade, wipe the nib with a tissue or cloth.
