A simple to build alarm kit which is light activated via a light dependent resistor.
The kit can be assembled to either emit a loud low frequency signal via the loudspeaker, or to light the LED, or both. Full circuit diagram/instructions included. Requires 9V battery (not included)
This is a low cost and practical demonstration of photo electronics. This circuit will sound an alarm through its included 8 Ohm 0.25W speaker when the on-board photo-transistor is exposed to light. Light sensitivity is adjusted by a trimmer potentiometer.
