The micro:bit V2 Go Bundle includes everything you need to get started with the micro:bit right away. It consists of a BBC micro:bit V2, a 15cm USB cable, a battery cage, and 2 x AAA batteries. The USB cable allows you to connect the micro:bit to a computer, while the battery cage and batteries allow you to power the BBC micro:bit once disconnected from USB.

The new micro:bit V2 is the latest version of the beloved pocket-sized, fully programmable computer. Created by the BBC to encourage children to actively engage in software development and the creation of new things controlled by it. The V2 has the same size, shape, and functions as the original micro:bit. So if you have used the first version, you will be familiar with it immediately. Write your code using one of the user-friendly editors provided on the micro:bit website, connect the BBC micro:bit to your computer via USB, press the download button in the editor, and then download the file to the micro:bit.

The BBC micro:bit is the spiritual successor to the BBC Micro of the 1980s, which introduced a generation of children to computing. The BBC micro:bit continues this 30-year tradition and makes it 18 times faster while being 70 times smaller than its predecessor.
